Merry Christmas Eve!!

Well, here it is, Christmas Eve. I'm at mom's typing away on my new laptop that I'm buying off of Andrea. I finally got the Internet working on it! So now I'm all set to go! Oh, I have to find a decoder for the DVD to get it to work.. but other than that, it's pretty good!

I can't believe I'm sitting on the floor next to my mom typing on a REAL computer connected to the internet and all! Very cool!

I'm going to keep this short, though, because this *IS* Christmas Even and I don't really want to sit here typing away in my journal all evening. Besides, mom's chatting at me. So Merry Christmas to all! Oh, I missed an entry for Tuesday. It was a really fun day, going out doing some last minute shopping with Kok then going out for dinner with Andrea & Kok then seeing "Mona Lisa Smile". Not a bad movie, though it was boring for the others. I enjoyed it!

Ack, I've got so much to keep track of and do yet that I barely slept last night. Getting another headache just thinking about it. I've got to wrap everything still, and go out with Kok tomorrow to get mom some perfume and get some lottery tickets and stuff for stockings. And I don't know if we need Egg Nog or what else I need to get for Christmas dinner, and I have to spend Christmas Eve at mom's! And agh! Too much! And here I am, sitting at work when I really ought to be doing everything else! But then again, work needs to be done too. I'm off for four days in a row, I really gotta make sure things are tidy around here. Blah. Tomorrow I get my laptop!!! Thursday I get my desktop!!! EEEEeee!

omg! Dad's working on my new computer and it sounds like it's coming along great... Yay! I found out it has a built-in Network card, which is great cuz I just ordered ADSL and will need that to plug in the DSL modem! AND I went out to dinner with Andrea tonight (and Barry & Scott) and found out that they have a laptop they're willing to sell me!! It's a *real* laptop, unlike the one I have right now (a 486, Win3.1 beast)! Ooh I'm so excited! It's got DVD & a network card & modem & WinXP (like my new comp has) so I'll be able to sync 'em up and everything!! eee! Okay enough eee'ing.. but.. EEEE!

Oh.. and I figure I ought to decorate.. so here, I'll steal Kok's decorations....

It's like a Bou-quet!

I can't believe I forgot to mention this in my other post. I caught the bouquet!! Not my first one, but I think this one means more because it came from my oldest (as in, known the longest) friend. That gives it special meaning. And besides, the other bouquet I caught... the couple are getting a divorce now.. >_< I think that cancels out any sort of "next to get married" rule. lol! Bunch of old wive's tales anyway, but I'm still glad I caught it.

Ack, I'm so sleepy today! I didn't even stay up very late, but I guess it was late enough! Only two more days then I'm off for four days! Yay! If there's more to write about today, I'll write it tomorrow, since right now it's only 10am and thus there's not much to say about the day yet. Tomorrow will be my last time updating this thing until after Christmas! One, because I'll be busy, and two, because my computer is GUTTED and I don't know if I'll even be able to get online until I get the new one!! >_< So yeah, if anyone wants to get ahold of me your best bet is to phone my cel (if you have it) or email my Hotmail account cuz I can check that at work and on my phone.
