I love learning about various spiritual topics, and I guess I'd fall into a "Neo Pagan" grouping if I had to. I love traveling, especially to cities & European places. I'm a writer at heart, and interested in filmmaking.

>_<

Scott is starting to drive me a little batty. I guess he's really taken a liking to me and wants to get to know me - (----------). (----------------). So he keeps calling and I keep not answering. Most of the time I've been legitimately busy, but why does he KEEP calling? Isn't that a bit weird? I mean, he calls my home, then calls my cell and leaves a short message. A while later, he calls my home again, twice in a row, before calling my cell and not leaving a message. This is all in the span of one evening! I was busy and tired that night, not in the mood to talk to anyone, I wasn't about to try to be chatty to a virtual stranger.

So he tried again today, phoned my cell while I was at work (and talking to a manager) so I just muted it. Later he emailed to ask if I was busy next Saturday (yup). I wish he had normal email (his email is only on his phone, hard to read/type for him) cuz then we could email back and forth. I don't like talking on the phone unless it's to a good friend or family. (------------), but he's coming out next weekend and I'm going to Andrea's on Saturday (thus why I'm busy) and if I see him there (likely) that'll be fine. I'm just worried about leading him on, since that's happened to me in the past when I was trying to be friends with a guy. So I don't know. How do I be nice and friendly but not give wrong signals? I guess I'll just have to see how it goes and cut off any advances at the knees. Last time he was out here he stole a kiss goodnight, so this time I'll just have to make sure nothing like that happens again.

I wish I could say I was seeing someone. :P That'd make it much easier to just strike up a friendship with him. I do have a new someone I'm emailing with, but that hardly counts. And I still have to set up a new date with Gina! Ah me, I wish I had more days off! This week I have to go in on my day off for a training meeting! bah.

(yeah, I censored myself. No, I wasn't saying anything bad at all. The full version is in my PC diary... I know why I'm cutting out stuff, and sorry, but that's all that matters.. my closest friends know the full details)

I made a resolution??

Our payroll at work is down right now so I can't do my usual work yet, so here I am finally updating my blog. I blame holidays, social gatherings and new-PC-fun for the lack in updating, but here ya go. This is what's been going on the past couple weeks! Not a whole lot, but it's been fun. The holidays were really fun, as was Kok's surprise party. It was great having time off work and even the snow was fun, even though it limited travel. I've been doing some soul-searching of a sort, and I've finally come to some conclusions about my personal life that I'm excited to explore in the new year. I guess that's my new year's resolution! As always, be more honest with myself. Keep discovering my personal truths and exploring. Ah, it's going to be a fun year!

I'm makin' magic! shhh!

After work today dad picked me up and we went down to Costco to see if they had any computer monitors on sale. Mine is really, really bad (everything is very dark and somewhat blurry). They didn't, but they did have "The Sims: Makin Magic" so I picked it up. We then ran off to PC Place (no go) and finally Blue Chip, where we did find a monitor that dad was satisfied would be good. We got the guy who owns the place to order one and he'll be picking it up tomorrow. Dad's going to get it for me tomorrow evening! Can't wait! Makin' Magic is so fun! The Sims can collect ingredients to cast spells, make charms and even bake goodies. They have this whole new world to explore, and it's just very amusing.

Yay, more space!

I took down the Christmas decorations today, and mom came over to help put up the wallpaper border in our basement. The painting is all done, and now that the border is up dad is going to get people in to do the carpet. I'm going to look into getting some blinds for the windows and door, and some kind of decorative curtains too. Finally, I'll have my own living room! Ohh, dad said he's putting in a gas fireplace too! Yay! He wants a hottub down there, but doesn't have the money.. which is fine, cuz I'd really like the space for my stuff.

Snow again?!

I was going to go out today to get my hair chopped & dyed, but the snow came and it was too ugly outside so I opted to stay home and veg. Very good day of vegging! I haven't had a day where I didn't go out with people for a few weeks, so it was really nice to just putter around the place and do my own thing. (Not that I don't love going out with people.. but we all need our "me time").

High Speeeed! Vroooom!

Oh yeah.. ADSL ROCKS! omg.. I can't believe this, I can go to a site with video, click on it, and watch it right then.. as if it's already on my PC! Large, and good resolution too! I found LaunchCast again, which I used to use at work years ago when I worked at an Internet company, and it's so fun! You can customize your own radio station and music video station! And I downloaded Netscape and other programs I wanted so fast! Plus, the joys of Kazaa and downloading videos from there. *drool* I could even download movies, but I really don't want to.

I'm still alive!

Another day at work, yay. Thankfully no calling in at all today. Lots of work done, but still no time to work on the past-due Scorecards. I really should suggest that Lisa take over doing them completely, especially if she's going full time and will need stuff to do. Lately I just have NOT had time to do them. Hey, I just discovered how Celeron sucks. I'm simply typing in my journal on my laptop, and playing "Radio Sunnydale" in the background, with Outlook minimized, and every time I type, it freezes up the cd like a REALLY badly skipping record. Scary. Wow.. I have all these entries flagged because they haven't been uploaded to my blog yet. I guess people are going to start wondering where I went! No.. I didn't go on some fabulous vacation.. I simply got lazy about updating. Oops. But I'm excited because as of the 5th (tomorrow, woo!) I'll be able to install my ADSL modem! Yay! High-speed, here I come!!
