50 First Dates

Okay, I know it's been a while since I last made an entry. Actually, I have two entries saved on a disk, but not uploaded yet. Don't worry, you're not missing anything. One was about a bike ride, the other was a bitch-fest about work. I don't think I'll bother to upload it! It was written as therapy so I could get it out of my system and now I feel fine (it was a week ago) so why bother airing it worldwide? lol! Yeah, I know.. "worldwide" is kind of hopeful, but I have stats on this page and it's amazing how many strangers find it!

Anyways, it's late and I'm really tired but I wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREA! Okay, this is going to appear to be late as it's now after midnight, but I just got home from her birthday outing, so whatever. We went out for a really nice dinner at a place named Ekos, then went to see "50 First Dates"! I'm sooo glad we did! It's such a good movie! I actually laughed a lot, which is kind of a new thing. It usually takes a lot to get me laughing (I find lots of things humerous, but used to be harder to get me to laugh more than a giggle). So yeah, that was fun. Also, hey, Drew... can't go wrong there! :} She's so cute, I just love the way she talks.

Naw, I'm not going to write a review or anything. Just, it was good. It was funny, it was also heartwarming and sweet and nearly tear-jerky worthy (nearly, but it was light-hearted enough to not really go there, but close). I usually don't like Adam Sandler too much (his humor never really appealed to me) but I loved "The Wedding Singer" too, so I think him and Drew make a winning on-screen couple!

So now it's off to bed, another work day for me tomorrow/today. And no, I don't think I'll be making any happy valentine's day posts. Oh wait, I just did, didn't I? Bah, humbug! This year I'll be living vicariously through my best friend who's going steady with a cool guy and planning a great Valentine's Day date. Yay her! I've only had two Valentine's Day dates (I thought it was one, there were actually two). One was when I was going steady with a guy in high school and the afore-mentioned Andrea had to remind him it was Valentine's Day. Another was with the same guy (it may have even been the same Valentine's) and we went to Bridal Falls for a walk....... then visited his grandparents.

Yeah.

I tell you one thing though. If I'm with someone next Valentine's Day, they'd better appreciate romance because man, am I going to treat them right! Classic romance up the yin-yang, topped off with some un-classical bedtime fun. Oh baby! Watch out!! :}~
