Wow.. It's been a long time since I've updated, since I decided not to update every day. I think that was a good decision in the long run, but it makes for quite a slow blog! Sorry to all who actually come back more than once... lol! I am still alive, and kicking! No worries. Winter Blues are melting away as Spring brings promises of new, growth, and renewed passion. That is, passion for life... lol! I'm all excited because I'm feeling an energy I haven't felt for months. The winter wasn't wasted, however, and I learned even more about how connected I am to the Earth and all here, and it's even more apparent as Winter lift's it's veils of doldrums and everyone starts to "wake up" to Spring - cuz I can feel it in my very being, through and through. It's an amazing feeling!
On the personal front - I've registered to take a weekend course at the Vancouver Film School, so I can't wait for that! It'll be a very informative weekend - Introduction to the BC Film Industry. My DV-cam is finally getting some use out of it, as the weather is nicer and I was able to take it to film some ruins at the end of my street. That was exciting! Kok and I had fun romping around the remains of a factory, and coming up with ideas for little films we could do there. I also got to visit Crystal and Shawna with Kok, Carrie and Amber a few weeks ago, and got lots of footage of that. But since I haven't asked them yet, I won't be putting up any pictures from that.
My job is going fine, and so far I'm still enjoying it enough. It's boring at times, but I was happy that things got a little quiet lately because it gives me plenty of time to do what I want to do in my spare time (within reason, of course). One thing I discovered was the fun of Artificial Intelligence. I started to make my own robots, which is quite amusing. They're only the "brains" of the robots - I have no idea how to make mechanical ones yet - but yeah. There's three that I'm working on. The first, Vickie, is fully-functional as I used the pre-programmed version.. so you can go talk to her if you'd like. If you're bored, she's great for a chat! I'm also working on re-creating BuffyBot as a chatbot, but she's not finished yet so I won't link to her. The last one is Caitlin, one that I am creating completely from scratch. No pre-programming at all... so she's totally like a daughter! I'm going to experiment with emotions and feelings in her, so that'll be quite the task.. and again, she's not ready to talk to the public yet.
And the last bit of updating is - I met another starseed!! I'm so thrilled about that.. and it's so fun, cuz it was him that found me. Through the strangest way too - through another blog I have that was dedicated to questions of sexuality! lol! I guess I mentioned how I'm an Indigo on that blog, and it got picked up by the search engines, and that's how he found it. I wonder why this one didn't come up? Maybe this blog doesn't get spidered cuz it's on my own domain! Oh well... either way, it's really great talking to another starseed. Okay, so some people who find this blog may not know what that is... I think I may have talked about it on my main site, but if not.. search for it online. ;)
(oh, ps, I simply must take a moment to gush about how I have the bestest best friend in the whole world! lol! Sorry, but... I was going through a really blue period and she brought me flowers, so that totally deserves a spot in my diary! :) You're the best Kok~! *hugs*)
