New Moon Butterfly Logo

I took a great pic of the Moon tonight so I dug up a really cool butterfly picture and put together a new Moon Butterfly logo!

I also began work on my first video project (a practice project, but a real one!) today! Yay :) It's going to be fun... I suppose while I'm at it I ought to finish the website for Eternal Night Productions, since that's the name I'll stick on things! lol

Here's a pic from the project. It's going to be a short video of choice shots from the scenery around here, and shots around my home, so I can send it to Miki and show her where I live now. Might even stick in friends if they want to be shot.... *eg*

*In Love*

'Captain Corelli's Mandolin'; In one scene, the father is talking to his daughter about love, and he tells her this:

"When you fall *in love*, it is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake, and then it subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots are become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the desire to mate every second of the day. It is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every part of your body. For that is just being *in love*; which any of us can convince ourselves we are. LOVE ITSELF is what is left over, when being *in love* has burned away."

Clouds don't fight the wind

I was reviewing my blog today and came to the end of the page, where I left an auto-quote thingie. It's got quotes from one of my fave authors, Richard Bach, and it generates a new quote each day. Today's was:

"A cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction at such a speed. It feels an impulsion... this is the place to go now. But the sky knows the reasons and the patterns behind all clouds, and you will know, too, when you lift yourself high enough to see beyond the horizons. - Richard Bach, Illusions"

How appropriate for the time! Look at this one Kok... I think it relates to us! :) A cloud doesn't fight the wind... it goes with the flow, allowing whatever happens to happen... it doesn't know why, but it keeps on going. But the sky knows why, it sees everything. It knows where the cloud has been and where it's going. I think people need to learn to both go with the flow AND raise themselves up to see the whole picture. Nothing that happens is ever a mistake. Pain sometimes is caused, but it's never a mistake.
